When Connecting to Our Radio Streams

When you listen to our radio streams, your IP address is sent to our radio service provider. This is necessary to monitor listening trends and to fulfil licensing requirements for royalty reporting.
Once received, your IP is immediately anonymised and deleted, making it untraceable. This data is never sold or shared with any third party.

For iOS Apps

The DCRadio Hub iOS App does not collect any personal user data when installed or launched on your device.

For Android Apps

The DCRadio Hub Android App does not collect any personal data during use.
To support audio playback control while using your phone, the app may monitor the state of the phone app (e.g., idle, in-call, call ended). However:
• It does not access phone numbers.
• It does not record conversations.
• It does not collect any sensitive personal data.

The app may also request permission to access local storage. This is used solely to store configuration files to improve launch speed and overall performance.

What Personal Data We Collect and Why

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.
An anonymised string (hash) created from your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After comment approval, your profile picture will be visible alongside your comment.

Media

If you upload images to our website, please avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract location data from such images.

Cookies
• If you leave a comment, you may opt to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for convenience and last one year.
• If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies. This contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
• Login cookies last two days (or two weeks if “Remember Me” is selected). Screen options cookies last one year.
• If you edit or publish content, an additional cookie will be saved, containing only the post ID of the article you edited (expires in one day).

If you have an account or have left comments, you may request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. You may also request deletion of your data, except where retention is required for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
